From Sunshine to the Smoky Mountains

This summer, I had the honor of capturing Dallas and Jesse’s incredible elopement. They made the trek from sunny Florida all the way to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for their special day. And though the skies were cloudy, the magic of these mountains never wavered.

From the moment they arrived, it was clear this day would be something special. Their excitement and energy were contagious, making the cloudy weather feel like just another part of their adventure. We hit the road, laughing the whole way, stopping off at some of my favorite pull-offs along Foothills Parkway.

Clouds and Mountain Magic

Even with the mist rolling in, the mountains were as stunning as ever. The clouds didn’t hide the beauty—they added to it. Every stop we made along the Parkway revealed another breathtaking mountain view. Each one felt more magical than the last, as Dallas and Jesse soaked in the scenery. Their chemistry was undeniable. Capturing their joy and connection was pure magic.

Popping Champagne and Crocs

As the day came to a close, we found the perfect spot to celebrate. Dallas and Jesse popped open a bottle of champagne, marking the start of their new adventure together. But what made the moment even better? They tied the knot—literally—while rocking American flag Crocs, a gift from a family member. It was the perfect, playful touch that reflected their fun and easygoing personalities.

A Day Filled with Joy

Dallas and Jesse’s elopement wasn’t just a wedding day—it was a day filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. They embraced the beauty of the mountains, the cloudy skies, and most of all, each other. It’s couples like these two that remind me why I love what I do. Their joy was contagious, and it made their day one I’ll never forget.
